Hotel Information Gaylord National ® Resort & Convention Center Gaylord National Resort ® and Convention Center is a AAA four diamond resort, located just eight miles south or 15 minutes from Washington , DC . The hotel is situated on 41 acres and is the largest combined hotel and convention center on the East Coast, offering world-class meeting facilities, exceptional service, five restaurants, shopping, entertainment, a spa and salon, and recreation. The junior Olympic-sized, pool also becomes "open air" in warmer months to a sun-deck and pool bar. Guests have 24-hour access to the fitness center, which features modern equipment, including cardio equipment outfitted with personal televisions. If you prefer being outdoors, walking, biking, and jogging paths are right outside of the hotel. The sleeping rooms feature 32-inch LCD flat screen TVs, wired and wireless internet access, a refrigerator and an in-room safe, where you can store and charge your laptop. While Gaylord National was designed for the comfort and ease of the convention attendee, it's a great place to bring your family. Children love the kid-friendly “splash zone” fountain, the family arcade, and the Scavenger Hunt throughout the atrium. The discounted room rate for the FFTA conference is $145.00 (including resort fee) per night (single or double occupancy) plus tax for the deluxe room or $185.00 (including resort fee) per night (single or double occupancy) plus tax for the atrium view room. Feel free to extend your stay for either a personal getaway or family vacation with discounted room rates available three days before and three days after the conference, based on availability.
